I don’t have time for social media
In a recent blog post, we discussed the importance of businesses using Social Media to further grow their business. However, knowing that you should be on social media and having the time to actually create content to then post on social media are two completely different things. In our experience, almost every single one of our clients admit that they know they should be on social media, but they all lack either the time or the expertise in creating content to post.
This is where we come in. We get it. We understand what it is like to be running a business. As if the constant tasks associated with growing and running a business aren’t already enough to handle, now you’ve also got to find time to post on social media?! Not to mention the fact that today, people suggest posting 2 sometimes 3 times per day. Who has time for that?! While we would also recommend posting as often as you can, we take that a step further and say you should post as often as you can create quality content for your audience. So how often should my business post, guys?! In all honesty, that number looks different for every single business. We put more emphasis on quality and consistency than we do frequency and we think, in the long run, your business will be rewarded for that. Let’s think about it, your favorite tv show doesn’t post a new episode every single day or multiple times per day, do they? No, they typically air a new episode once per week. The key is that you know exactly what day and what time that show airs and you tune in! That’s exactly what your audience on social media can learn to expect from you as well as you begin shifting your emphasis to quality and consistency.
Now, back to finding time to create content to post on social media. We truly understand that most businesses don't the time to create content. That is one of the biggest pieces of feedback that we get from our clients is that working with us enabled them to get their time back. Whether they were struggling to create content themselves, or neglecting social media altogether, our clients have been able to recover valuable time by allowing us to partner with them to create content with and for them. If this situation resonates with you, be sure to reach out to us and we would love to see how we can work together to help grow your business on social media.
