part two of this framed
0:04
session we're going to talk about the
0:06
importance of mentorship and the
0:08
community that is the photography
0:13
Community obviously we already know the
0:15
answer of this question but did you have
0:17
a mentor right I kind of penciled that
0:19
in did you have a mentor I had a mentor
0:22
Garrett had a mentor I still have
0:24
mentors same
0:27
absolutely speak to the importance of of
0:32
having a
0:33
mentor well and why was that so pivotal
0:36
for you honestly I wasn't really sure
0:38
what I was walking into like I knew I I
0:41
did the research I figured out that she
0:45
was the style that I mean she was
0:48
completely budoir that's all she had
0:49
done she did she literally did nothing
0:51
else oh wow um she was also a painter
0:54
yeah um so she would would paint her
0:56
clients too which is really really cool
0:59
and so I walked in but the best part
1:02
about her mentorship and eventually when
1:04
I get to the stage of going to do that
1:06
where I feel like I'm adequate enough to
1:08
do that I will do the same what painting
1:11
as no um The MENTOR the to be a mentor I
1:14
don't feel like I'm at that point yet
1:16
but got I'll challenge you on that but
1:18
keep going she had me come in as a
1:20
client first so the first two days were
1:23
me as client so that I could see her
1:26
processes and then we literally flipped
1:29
to
1:30
this is her process on how we're going
1:32
to do it you're going to sit by me
1:34
you're going to edit with me um and and
1:37
just we talked about the business side
1:39
the editing side the basically every
1:42
single yes that's and that's very you
1:46
know it's it's it's a hard thing to sit
1:49
and go over your entire like literally
1:51
go over your entire give all of your
1:53
secrets away now I don't know that she
1:55
gave them all away but you know she well
1:57
you feel like she did I feel like she
1:59
did because I still use those Secrets
2:01
today I was going to say whether whether
2:02
or not she actually did you perceived
2:05
the value of being there and the
2:07
information that she gave you yes and it
2:09
and it was worth every penny and more
2:11
and and today I use many of those things
2:14
some things I've changed on my own um
2:17
and grown because it has been so long um
2:20
but a lot of it I feel like I would have
2:22
never known had I not had a mentor
2:25
because how would you have found out
2:27
like the IPS was you know the way that I
2:30
wanted to do things and I'm not saying
2:32
it's for everybody but when I did it I
2:35
came back I tried it and it was okay I
2:37
did it again it was a little bit better
2:39
that time right um so it is a process it
2:42
is a learning it's continuing to learn
2:45
it's a it's always learning I'm always
2:47
learning something so you said you still
2:48
talk to her right still talk to her yeah
2:50
see at least a couple times every
2:52
quarter and it's been how long five
2:54
years yeah see that's what's so cool
2:56
like when I had a mentor
3:00
I was able to so he helped me so much
3:04
with the editing now he he was a
3:07
traditional he came from film okay he
3:09
was an older photographer and done a lot
3:11
and did a lot of Studio work and
3:12
portrait work so he was more of that
3:15
clean just not really stylized uh
3:19
editing style but just a really clean
3:22
Timeless processing and so like that's
3:24
how I learn things simple things like in
3:26
Lightroom where you hold the alt button
3:29
you find white point you hold the alt
3:30
button you find your blacko that way um
3:34
and so like I learned so much of just
3:36
how to edit how to go through a
3:38
Lightroom catalog how to set those
3:40
things are things that you just don't
3:41
understand now obviously now you've got
3:42
YouTube and all those things but there's
3:44
something to be said for having an
3:46
actual Mentor someone that you can call
3:48
up because it's great to watch YouTube
3:50
videos I have YouTube channel Garrett
3:51
has YouTube channel I'm thankful for
3:52
people who watch it but like the people
3:54
who really get value are the people who
3:56
can actually you can talk to yeah um so
4:00
hey I'm really struggling with this
4:01
thing right here M yes and and I don't
4:04
know how you all are in the videography
4:07
world but we have um groups of budoir
4:12
photographers all over the world and we
4:15
you can put your problems into this
4:16
group you bounce ideas off each
4:18
other now they're very like very picky
4:22
about who comes in there um like you
4:24
have a lot of questions to answer before
4:26
you because you can't just you can't
4:28
just let everybody and hate to for it to
4:30
be like that but also it has to be the
4:32
value the value it has to be there and
4:36
so um it's nice to get actual feedback
4:40
from people that have been there or have
4:44
seen that problem or you like you post a
4:46
photo and you say look I've got you know
4:48
I've got this spotting or whatever and
4:50
you know you can help that or you well
4:52
you're talking to people who are where
4:54
you want to be right which does a lot of
4:57
things that a that helps you level up
4:59
and I think I think coming into a
5:00
community where maybe it is a little bit
5:03
we'll call it exclusive uh to to get
5:05
into um that only helps you like that
5:09
helps you level up because again you're
5:11
getting advice you're getting feedback
5:13
from folks who are in the place that you
5:14
want to be I think that's massively
5:16
valuable and I feel like you always have
5:18
to find somebody that's better than you
5:21
to be able we talk about that all the
5:22
time that's that's where my challenge
5:24
comes in you said when I get to a place
5:26
I want to be a mentor listen I've never
5:30
heard it more easily put put it on a 0
5:34
to 10 we've talked about this on the
5:35
podcast whatever you see yourself say
5:39
you see yourself I see myself as like a
5:41
four or a five right whatever on the
5:44
scale of Photography right in competency
5:47
that means that you can help a zero you
5:49
can help a one you can help a two you
5:51
can help a three you can even help up to
5:53
the same level as you right and that's
5:55
what you need to be doing right because
5:57
I've also learned this when someone asks
5:59
you something and then you've got to
6:01
formulate a good response as to how to
6:03
answer it you actually learn more yeah
6:06
in some cases by teaching that makes any
6:08
sense I would agree with that you're
6:09
reverse mathing everything yeah so like
6:11
you also inadvertently end up leveling
6:14
yourself up too there like when you have
6:16
to turn around and teach it to somebody
6:18
so and the illustration that that person
6:21
used was so comical they were like look
6:23
if I just started out
6:24
golfing I do not need to take lessons
6:27
from Tiger Woods right yeah you'd be so
6:29
confused you'd be so confused now could
6:31
he teach you everything absolutely but
6:34
like no you need to learn from like a
6:36
two or a three right now need learn from
6:38
a midle Le fundamental things right so
6:40
it's like you could easily you can I
6:42
know you can provide value to someone
6:44
right so if all I'm saying is don't let
6:48
your fear of striking out striking out
6:51
or whatever actually I'm going to call
6:54
you out because I know specifically at
6:56
some of the local photography meetups
6:58
that we have you have people coming to
7:00
you already yeah I asking for
7:03
information and advice and I love
7:04
helping people um but I do have that
7:06
fear of what if I tell them the wrong
7:08
thing well um but then also
7:10
like my my other concern about that is
7:14
where do you monetize that like I knew
7:17
what I paid as a as as someone going to
7:20
you know when I was doing my research
7:22
and I was like what what value do I put
7:23
on this what dollar sign do I put on
7:25
this am I comfortable spending several
7:27
thousand dollars with to spend a week
7:29
with this person person right like where
7:31
I don't that's where the giant question
7:32
mark like everybody's time is valuable I
7:35
think you just have to set that right
7:37
you just have to set that like experim
7:39
with it to take Tiger Woods a golf
7:40
lesson from Tiger Woods I guarantee he's
7:42
going to be pretty dab burn expensive
7:44
compared to the middle school golfer or
7:46
to the local uh Pro or the local
7:49
you yeah well I mean they have value
7:51
trust Meely I could learn tons of things
7:54
from a local Pro I do not need to take
7:56
lessons from Tiger Woods nor could I
7:58
afford to take lessons from wood that's
8:00
not the point but like yeah you figure
8:01
out what that is and so like if if
8:03
you're catering to you know let's just
8:05
say you're a five or a six or whatever
8:07
and you're catering to a one or two or
8:09
three well you know you could price it
8:11
as such yeah um and I don't know every
8:15
every niche of Photography is going to
8:17
obviously require different amounts of
8:19
time you mentioned having a full week I
8:21
could see a value I could see Great
8:23
Value in having a full week oh for sure
8:25
could you could you still provide
8:27
value in uh like a an online well an
8:30
online setting or even an onsite like
8:33
hey weekend I will come with you people
8:35
come to you during a session and and I
8:39
would do that that's exactly how I would
8:41
do it I would say look I I'll bring
8:43
someone in that day I feel like yours
8:44
would be very Hands-On it would have to
8:46
be I don't feel like I could do that
8:48
online be honest um but because you have
8:52
to be you have to be real intimate with
8:54
your client you know you're fixing
8:56
straps you're like you know you're
8:57
makeing sure the hair is okay or
8:59
whatever ever and you're really having
9:00
to get down into what we're doing with
9:02
our hands all the way down to I mean we
9:04
pose toe to head like toe to hair
9:08
probably break it up though if you had
9:10
like an entry level let's say let's say
9:12
your entry level was online where you're
9:14
talking about like basic poses and basic
9:17
uh we'll just call it confidence
9:19
Concepts yeah uh for your client like
9:21
you can get a very basic level uh course
9:25
that is pretty much autopilot for you um
9:27
so this year 2024 I am um right now I'm
9:32
going through courses to be a certified
9:34
body image educator there you go at the
9:36
end of the at the end of the year I will
9:38
be well by the time that we do my Costa
9:40
Rica Retreat I will be a body image
9:42
educator I don't know what that is but
9:44
congrats basically it's just um making
9:47
my clients feel confident in in the skin
9:49
that they're in there you go so and it's
9:52
and it's it's caused me to be very um
9:56
open and transparent with my clients who
9:59
they they appreciate that absolutely
10:01
people people want to to communicate and
10:04
to buy and to be they want someone they
10:08
can trust someone they can they can
10:10
relate to and someone that's honest and
10:13
and that have something that they want I
10:16
think you have multifaceted ways that
10:17
you could you could essentially be an
10:19
educator yeah whether it be on site
10:21
online wherever it's a goal yeah don't
10:24
don't sell yourself short don't sell
10:25
yourself short telling you you've got
10:27
value to provide for someone um um I
10:30
guess the last thing I would love and
10:31
we've talked about this off camera
10:34
MH you mentioned mentoring we've all
10:38
talked about mentors that we've
10:40
had there is a misconception though in
10:44
the photography and even video community
10:47
of I don't know and I don't know if it's
10:50
like Pride on the person who should be
10:53
asking or if it's some sort of
10:57
perception of someone being approachable
11:00
like specifically if you are uh looking
11:03
up to someone because you think they're
11:05
further ahead in their career then you
11:07
you admire them you would love to have
11:09
advice from them all these things but
11:12
for whatever reason you feel as though
11:14
they're unapproachable I I wish we could
11:16
somehow break that wall down um because
11:19
here's the thing I I personally find
11:22
that the photography Community is very
11:23
very supportive right for the most part
11:26
but we do get for the most part going to
11:29
have you got your Richards in there to
11:31
have you're going to have right that's
11:33
that's that's that's period but I know
11:36
we've talked about this and I would
11:38
somehow love to squash the bug if if if
11:42
at all possible on this faith and Frank
11:43
podcast to to basically say
11:47
look I I love to answer questions right
11:52
I am wherever I am today whatever
11:55
whatever level you think that is I am
11:57
where I am today because I as as
11:59
somebody some question somewhere right
12:02
now that could be from Google that could
12:04
be from YouTube in person whatever but
12:07
like local community I I love being
12:11
asked a question so if I could somehow
12:14
encourage anyone who is starting in
12:17
photography maybe you see a local
12:19
photographer that you just love their
12:20
work but for whatever reason you think
12:22
they're
12:23
unapproachable I would I would almost
12:25
argue that you're you're wrong like
12:27
they're they they they're would love to
12:31
uh but what are what are ways that you
12:33
break that barrier because so you you
12:34
are you're you're professional at what
12:36
you do right um we'll say regarded
12:39
because you're doing destination Bo yeah
12:41
true but but what are some ways though
12:43
that you can uh help people with that
12:45
because I know again like we have a
12:46
fairly large local community absolutely
12:49
and I feel like and I've seen you in
12:51
person answer questions yes and I and I
12:53
really try like I and I don't feel like
12:56
I'm inapproachable but I know that
12:58
that's it's out there and so um one
13:01
thing that I've this is one thing I've
13:03
done in the past is um so I booked a
13:07
session with that person that I look up
13:09
to like I um there was a a person in
13:12
Bristol that I really loved and so and
13:15
this was back when I did family things
13:17
right and so my thing was I'm going to
13:20
book a session with her and just say hey
13:23
you know where can I go to learn or
13:25
whatever do you offer do you offer
13:26
classes you offer mentoring you know
13:28
because in that hour that I've booked
13:30
with her yes she probably don't want to
13:32
talk about it but we did anyway because
13:34
I got to know how she is as a person
13:37
also I brought my family to her um and
13:39
she helped mentally like she answered
13:41
questions while we were walking talking
13:43
and you know and then I I proceeded to
13:46
go back to her yeah several more times
13:49
we talk still um there is a a Tri Cities
13:52
group um that you know she's active in
13:56
she answers questions she offers
13:57
mentorships now right and so I feel like
14:01
unless you ask the question that the
14:03
answer is always going to be no period
14:05
period absolutely step out there and
14:07
answer you know ask the question because
14:09
if you don't then it's always always
14:11
going to be no if you're looking for
14:13
negative then you'll find it right
14:14
that's true right that's very very true
14:16
and so I I feel like you know if there's
14:19
somebody and the same goes for me like I
14:21
have people that I look up to in a
14:23
general area around here and then I have
14:26
next level like in our in the US or in
14:30
the entire world mean you know and at WP
14:33
I went to wppi last year in Vegas I was
14:35
able to work with a couple people the
14:37
caveat to that is that you know there
14:41
are people that you maybe that are on a
14:44
different level and they don't they are
14:46
they are a little bit unapproachable
14:47
again you've got some Richards out there
14:49
and by Richard I mean figure out the
14:51
abbreviation for that and you'll well I
14:53
met those I met those met some Richards
14:56
we've met some Richards you mentioned
14:57
you mentioned uh
14:59
secrets and and she let all of her
15:03
Secrets out or you felt as though she
15:05
let all her Secrets out Mentor there is
15:08
this issue of of gatekeeping there can
15:11
be right but by and large no I
15:15
mean listen there anything that I know
15:19
MH free knowledge yeah I got from
15:22
somewhere yeah I had to get it from
15:23
somewhere I didn't just spontaneously
15:24
combust what I know that's true but and
15:28
and here's the big thing too and
15:29
especially in the bud Community is that
15:33
um a lot of us pay for certain yes
15:37
materials right yes and that is
15:39
something that by law we cannot give out
15:43
we can't give out and that seems very
15:45
unapproachable and when I say here's
15:47
where you can go to find this I
15:50
encourage you to look into it there I'm
15:52
not trying to be hateful right but I've
15:54
also invested well you invested a lot
15:56
and I want you to invest too because
15:58
then we can we can all grow together the
16:01
meat of it right then we can get into it
16:04
and so I'll I'll lean you that way but I
16:07
can't give you that for free because
16:09
some educator has really put a lot into
16:12
Dollars into that is that's something
16:14
too and it's not that I'm unapproachable
16:15
about it it's just that I really need
16:17
you to like yeah that's fair get with it
16:20
well and there there comes a point in
16:21
time too where like when you do get to
16:23
that level of like Hey we're we're
16:25
paying for a mentor or I'm paying for
16:27
these resources like it's it's only fair
16:30
that everyone pay the same
16:32
dues in that situation something I mean
16:35
it it truly like if you if you just have
16:37
a question for if you have a few
16:39
questions for a local photographer and
16:41
they don't have like actual hour Mentor
16:44
sessions to can book like take them to
16:46
dinner yeah pay for
16:48
the yeah I mean come to the meet just
16:50
come to a Meetup truly most people I'll
16:53
take an out of focus Polaroid of you I'm
16:55
going I'm going to that's also true
16:59
Polaroid only shoots out of focus it
17:01
doesn't want to be in Focus um but like
17:04
most I'm going to put Big Air quotes
17:06
around most most for the most of the
17:08
photography Community is super
17:10
supportive absolutely absolutely and and
17:12
I can only speak for specifically the
17:14
three here like I love questions right
17:17
if you have any questions if if this
17:19
setting yeah is like giving you trouble
17:23
you just do not cannot grasp this
17:26
setting well and I try
17:29
and me me as a client and you all have
17:32
seen it in the last week for sure like I
17:36
booked a creative session with um a
17:39
couple photography you know company here
17:42
and then I did Mommy and Me sessions
17:44
with another photographer like I also do
17:47
things with Bonnie I I mean like I you
17:50
know I make sure Bonnie are you back
17:52
there no she hasn't come in yet oh she
17:54
came to the door and then she was like
17:55
Oh I thought I heard her come
17:57
in yeah I saw the n do your motorcycle
18:00
so the nuns cuz I was going to sell my
18:01
motorcycle and so I wanted to do a
18:03
creative like hey I feel very Maverick
18:06
and so I got permission to go to the
18:08
airport and we did creative things that
18:11
and the nuns were like hey can we bring
18:12
our gels yes yes you absolutely can so I
18:15
did the you know and I Danielle Ricker
18:18
um you know like or cutshaw Bonnie like
18:21
I try to yeah you fought a session from
18:25
Danielle recently I saw it on mommy and
18:27
me and so I I really tried to not only
18:30
you know actively supporting the
18:31
community yes and I want and I like
18:34
having that conversation with people but
18:36
I also like to make sure that I'm
18:37
sharing the the wealth like I you know
18:41
you want that come to come back to me
18:43
but also I want to make sure that I'm
18:45
I'm giving back to my part of the
18:47
community too so this is what's so cool
18:49
I remember a Meetup that we had um a few
18:51
months ago and and they'll probably kill
18:53
me for talking about this but the nuns
18:55
Jessica specifically wanted to practice
18:57
different styles of pH photography right
19:00
um they do weddings solely like that's
19:02
that's their gig is is wedding and
19:04
engagement and they kill it they they
19:06
are great at it like I I send everybody
19:08
I know to them but Jessica specifically
19:12
had mentioned wanted to practice
19:13
different styles of Photography so you
19:15
by going and doing your Maverick photo
19:17
shoot to you is like okay I'm I'm doing
19:19
my Maverick photo shoot this is fun
19:21
bring your jails but for them and
19:23
Jessica specifically that's something
19:25
that she specifically requested you
19:27
practice so you were able to
19:30
subsequently give back to even her to
19:32
her that's a byproduct of it a byct well
19:34
another thing is so I did a women's um
19:37
group shoot here I had a women's group
19:39
shoot here and we basically were um I
19:41
wasn't invited to that well me neither
19:43
you know uh interesting and so basically
19:46
got the equipment for it everyone um
19:48
wore nude colored outfits um and it's
19:52
basically everybody is a good body saw
19:54
that and so Jessica was the shooter
19:56
because I wanted to be part of it with
19:58
my group I have a ladies group and and I
20:00
wanted I can't be in it and take it at
20:03
the same time Jessica came and
20:04
graciously did a phenomenal job um took
20:07
the Reigns and she was like I need to do
20:09
more things like this yes that's a
20:11
really cool thing though swapping yes
20:13
and so much that at the end she was like
20:15
can you take a few head shots of me
20:17
because I feel very you know she's like
20:19
I feel empowered and I was like this is
20:21
what you're supposed to feel like I told
20:22
her million times ago try to shoot some
20:24
some street photography just to get her
20:27
mentally out of like even like The
20:28
Wedding Game for a little bit just to
20:30
give yourself a a photographic Outlet
20:32
well and and burnouts real yeah burn
20:35
burnout can cly we could literally spin
20:37
a whole burnout a big one yes yes and
20:40
coming out of the burnout is Big that's
20:42
that's where I think that's where I'm at
20:44
at the moment and it's very hard to like
20:47
I don't know it's hard to decipher where
20:49
you're at in it until you're already a
20:50
in it or B coming out of it and you're
20:52
like yeah you never see it coming you
20:54
don't see it coming uh you don't
20:55
actually notice it until you're in you
20:57
feel it when you're in it probably why I
20:59
feel the way I do about editing and then
21:00
it's like okay how do I get out of this
21:03
yeah but I do to to Encompass that whole
21:05
Community idea that we just talked about
21:07
like prime example you are locally
21:10
giving folks the opportunity to try new
21:14
things that's that's the thing about
21:16
photography like I joke and
21:18
say it doesn't have a destination right
21:22
like being the best photographer like or
21:25
or having it all figured out that
21:26
doesn't exist like you're way learning
21:29
so like the nuns specifically her
21:31
wanting to test with jails and stuff
21:32
like that well they are very good
21:36
photographers but their their the point
21:38
is they still had something that they
21:40
wanted to try and learn and test and
21:42
whatnot it's like it is a great
21:45
Community if nothing else has like you
21:47
can swap subject for shooter type
21:49
situation well and Garrett Garrett asked
21:52
to come he he wasn't in he wasn't
21:54
invited invited he was like that doesn't
21:56
sound like Garett none at all Jessica
21:58
goes hey
22:00
uh really wants to come is that okay and
22:03
I'm like yeah I mean it's whatever and
22:05
so and then the next day it was up I
22:09
mean I we shot Tuesday it was up on
22:10
Wednesday I was like they turn it around
22:12
please quit doing that it makes the rest
22:13
of us look we look horrible they really
22:15
turn it around uh Teddy by the way Teddy
22:17
their son um they are setting him up for
22:20
just massive success because agreed
22:22
Jessica's like a dad burn fifth
22:23
generation professional photographer
22:25
it's genetic daughter of dawn Fields y
22:28
go dawn go Dawn and the boys and then
22:31
Garrett he's been doing it since he was
22:32
like two and a half so yeah I mean
22:34
they're they're setting Teddy up they're
22:36
damic Duo it's awesome though and then
22:38
another point I just want to quickly
22:40
make is that um so Scott Henry and I
22:42
went with our families to meow view or
22:45
no Meadow Creek uh viewing Tower the
22:48
other day to see the aurora that we the
22:50
Aurora Borealis we did not see on
22:53
Saturday
22:54
night that we didn't see on Saturday
22:56
night so our families were running
22:57
around Scott and I talking about long
22:59
exposure and what you know we're at
23:01
bouncing settings because Jennifer
23:04
doesn't do long exposure photographers
23:06
in this area saw that thing but
23:08
everybody else on God's green earth did
23:10
you know it needed the publicity that
23:12
Scott I think Scott got a couple images
23:14
yes yes um from his yard he was like I
23:17
really would have liked to not be in my
23:19
yard for that same and so we were
23:21
standing there with our tripods just
23:22
waiting on someone to flip the switch
23:24
and let's go with it and it never
23:26
happened but we were sitting there going
23:28
hey what are the settings we need to
23:29
have for this what are the settings we
23:30
need to have this and really discussing
23:32
it because I haven't shot long exposure
23:35
in a really long time I love exposure
23:37
it's fun 2013 yeah it's been a minute
23:40
since I've tinkered I've started
23:41
dabbling with it on film which is oh
23:44
that sounds it's a notm but it's fun
23:46
sounds like the good old shutter button
23:49
release hard pass hard pass but that
23:52
makes a good point and I guess I guess
23:54
ultimately if I had to say anything else
23:56
regarding the community
23:59
even on a physical level photography is
24:01
pretty expensive yeah uh most people are
24:05
pretty willing to like lend gear out oh
24:08
yeah yeah yeah I mean we I've I don't
24:11
know how many lenses out like glass is
24:13
expensive say we've R out to test a lens
24:16
out before you like buy it which is
24:19
smart I I suggest you do that or borrow
24:21
lenses L is like yeah rent gear reach
24:24
out to your local people uh heck maybe
24:26
they've got exactly what you're want to
24:28
test camera Castle F32 love Castle gear
24:32
oh yeah Sony F32 develops on my horrible
24:36
film they probably get a good kick out
24:38
of the they look at my frames are like
24:40
he is literally taking pictures of trash
24:42
cans what are we doing here boys this
24:43
was a $5 trash
24:45
can by the time he time he got it
24:48
developed and scanned and bought film
24:49
that's five bucks a shot good old Waste
24:53
Management wow speaking of yeah wow rent
24:56
rent some gear ask some questions well
24:58
so like a local one uh was potentially
25:02
in the market for like a 70 to 200 which
25:05
is a great lens but it's not a cheap
25:07
lens even if you buy it used secondhand
25:09
it's still a pretty expensive lens um
25:11
especially if it's a 28 but um yeah she
25:14
was like hey can I borrow that I'm like
25:16
yeah yeah it I would rather you like see
25:19
if it fits your workflow than for you to
25:22
uh you know spend a whole bunch of money
25:24
have to worry about returns all these
25:25
things like yeah which I always do that
25:27
I always always rent things like if like
25:30
before I purchased my Sigma Arts I will
25:32
rent them
25:34
and there's noad there's no B listen
25:38
I'll go ahead you're actually being
25:39
filmed on a sigma art right now I will
25:41
uh you're safe you're safe buying a
25:43
sigma art lens also Amazon they have
25:45
their rental program too I did not know
25:47
that yeah you buy it and then you just
25:48
return it when you're done you learned
25:49
something new oh rental program it's not
25:52
an official rental program wow that's
25:55
that secret menu Sol fun in games until
25:57
you know dropped I know people o I know
26:01
people yeah you got no damage insurance
26:03
on the purchase and return situation
26:05
maybe I wouldn't advise that please
26:07
don't do that um do not come to me for
26:09
financial advice no noted listen what
26:13
they can come to you with though they
26:15
can ask for uh they can get feedback
26:18
some stars and bars questions give
26:20
feedback questions yes absolutely that's
26:22
one of my favorite things about starting
26:24
my YouTube channel
26:26
surprises uh it's great you lost me at
26:29
the at the the photo walking in yeah you
26:31
left me the other day I was like oh I
26:33
might have to leave after that cuz it
26:35
was was the photo walk Walking In
26:37
there's no pun intended dang enter photo
26:41
walk enter in the chat you lost me at
26:42
that I was like oh I'm good I thought it
26:45
was good well I I actually stated that I
26:49
probably lost half my viewers there
26:50
sounds like at least I lost
26:51
one uh so Jennifer thank you no I
26:55
